Warning: Acid Reflux Medications can cause acute Kidney DiseaseHi
There are a lot of things we do without thinking I sent you a post about the health risks of soda a few weeks ago Sodas are more dangerous than you realize Here is another warning. I am talking about heartburn medications-acid reflux medications These drugs known as Proton Pump Inhibitors can cause acute kidney disease These include such common heartburn drugs as:
The ads for these medications are all over the place But this is not the only risks of Proton Pump Inhibitors
What is heartburn anyway? Heartburn is a symptom of GERD [Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease] Heartburn occurs when acid from the stomach "reflux" back into the esophagus, irritating it Heartburn can be caused by some foods, medications-such as Aspirin, obesity, smoking etc. Which suggests that GERD may be partly the result of unhealthy choices. Part of the solution may be to make non-toxic lifestyle choices The body's ideal ph should be 7.35, slightly alkaline Get your body more on the alkaline side by eating more fruits and
vegetables! But whatever you do to alleviate your heartburn, make sure it is NOT a Proton Pump Inhibitor
Till next time.. This is Teejay saying.. Always, always make non-toxic choices!
